As a Full Stack Developer, that means you’ll be…

• Leading the charge in holistically designing, building and improving Parkonects systems and applications architectures
• Working to scale and re-engineer our backend architecture and migrate our system toward a service-oriented future (or another pattern you help us identify)
• Working towards modernizing our on-prem hardware/software architectures
• Debugging complicated tasks across all levels of the stack from the website and APIs on through to our on-prem hardware IoT solutions
• Informing and helping expand our automated testing coverage across all levels of the stack
• Owning and delivering features across all product lines and software layers

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 7+ years of software development experience, ideally in web, mobile or API development. If not, convince us why it doesn't matter—we're listening
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
  • REST: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Awareness of web and mobile toolkits (e.g., Bootstrap, JQuery, React, Swift, Kotlin, etc.)
  • Sound familiarity with unit, systems and functional testing
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team of fellow software engineers
  • Ability to finds opportunities to mentor and level up your teammates through the software development lifecycle (pair programming, code reviews, etc.)
  • Ability to succinctly articulate your ideas both verbally and in written form
  • Good practical judgment
  • A willingness to collaborate with all stakeholders company-wide
  • Technical decision-making with business goals and outcomes in mind

A Parkonect product manager will gain experience in hardware, web software, mobile software, embedded software and more on a national-going-global scale.

You will be instrumental in making Parkonect product development a machine. Our execution and product velocity should both inspire and scare our competitors. We want to move fast, move practically and not break things. To that end, you will be…
• Collaborating with Parkonect senior leaders to practically prioritize our product roadmap
• Creating, communicating and aligning all parties on project requirements
• Collaborating with engineering on decomposition of projects into working plans
• Quarterbacking releases with the engineering, sales, documentation and customer support teams
• Triaging, troubleshooting, documenting and prioritizing bugs across the Parkonect product suite
• Leading daily standups and other project-related meetings

Requirements & Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or product manager (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • A love of products, and building fun and intuitive user experiences
  • Ability to coordinate the work of cross-functional teams and track project budgets, schedules and milestones
  • Ability to break down complex problems and explain them in a way everyone can understand and get on board with
  • Experience with product management tools like JIRA/CONFLUENCE/Linear/Trello/etc.
  • Ability to articulate your ideas succinctly and thoroughly both verbally and written.
  • Deep care about what you're building and taking ownership of it
  • Possess excellent practical judgement—you should know how to effectively allocate your time when solving hard problems
